"What’s it like to be an Air Traffic Controller?"

"What’s it like to fly with Air Traffic Control?"

"How is Air Traffic Control taught?"

Here at Fly the Limit we can answer these questions… The ATC department offers you professional Air Traffic Control services around the clock for every and any one of the 24,000 airports, Microsoft Flight Simulator has to offer, this, coupled with fixed wing and rotary training will bring your simulation dreams to life and will really get "as real as it gets!".

Fly The Limit has over 250 registered members in which Air Traffic Control is broadcast efficiently and professionally. Many of our members are taking the ATC course to bring their simulation one step closer to the real thing!

Our Instructors are either real Air Traffic Controllers or have had detailed experience of the ATC structure, this includes Pilots, Engineers and Aviation Students.

As well as giving free ATC services for pilots we also offer training courses for anyone taking their vPPL, vCPL and vATPL licenses. Additionally we offer training courses for those interested in becoming Air Traffic Controllers and Air Traffic Instructors (ATCi).

If you are shy person then don’t worry, we offer guidance to improve your transmission techniques, you will soon be as confident as the real life controllers themselves. If your worry is the unlikely event of an air accident then don’t panic, we will guide you through the stages until you are ready for your first RT solo!

The ATC syllabus is written in co-ordinance with Aviation Professionals and is structured the ATC Towersame way as the real ATC course which students wanting to be real Air Traffic Controllers will take. We cover from basic radio communications to advanced ATC procedures such as SRA (Standard Radar Approaches).

The RT license will enable pilots to fly anywhere at any time within controlled airspaces/ channels.

If you do not want the ATC course but wish to take your R.T. licence (radio telephony) then book your place with FTL818 - Paul

When can I start?

Now! In the fall of 2008 new ATC training flights will start, see details on the events calendar.
